Milestones, anger, and grieving as a young man | S4 04
Breaking news! 4 in 5 bereaved students give grief support in education a fail. In this episode, Nell (23) and Abigail (21) are joined by Letizia, Winston’s Wish Deputy CEO and Director of Services to talk about the lack of bereavement support in education and how we're changing that. Grieving students can often struggle at school with attendance, behaviour and learning – many being labelled as ‘bad’ or 'troubled'. Our new Ask Me: Education Manifesto, Bereavement Plans and training will help educators by giving them confidence and guiding conversations with bereaved students.
